scroll help

I want to make a page with up-down scroller button...I know how to make a text scroller but unable to scroll a shape which contains picture and text together .

Its a common thing i guess but i m new and searched the forum but didnt get a proper answer. Mods please delete the thread if its discussed before.

hi,

here are some swish 2 scrollers that scroll images (screenshots of text). you can add text, objects etc. simply copy the move effect inside the text sprite and apply it to the new objects.

Thanks Lys for quick response.. I m new and all u said flew over my head ....

I have made a shape with pictures and text which has a move effect and made two buttons up and down. The up button script is events>button>on rollover...movie control >gotoandstop> next frame and stop. The down button has the same script but previous frame and stop. But my rollover doesnt work ...even if i put 2 buttons for up one over another.

hi,

the way you've setup the file wouldn't work... you'll have to use sprites so get the scroller to work in the upwards direction.
