Ok - 11/3 has come and gone. I remember back on April 1st, some thought this was an April Fools prank. If it is, then this is the longest, most dragged out prank ever!
I may be wrong but I am guessing that Novermber03 would mean. The month of november year 2003. So there is still time for it to come out. - Cheers Tech Designer
David Martin confimed in another post a while ago that November 03 did in fact mean November 2003 so you people will have to wait just that little bit longer

Propod is apparently a new method by which to deliver data to websites so they load faster. I believe that's it. Collaboration between 2Advanced and Fantasy Interfaces. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Nope, you're totally wrong.
Originally, Propod was a clever piece of scripting, that meant that flash sites with it on would pre-load other sections of the site before you even went there - kind of an intelligent pre-loader.
Then, they (FI) changed thier minds and now propod is going to be a hub for professional developers, a kind of community like this one but for the elite.

I wonder how they're gonna moderate it - are they gonna allow mere mortals like us to simply view the content and have invited members only, to contribute to the community? Sort of a fishbowl where the "professional" developers reside and the plebs peer wantingly through the glass

Ha ha, you can imagine it now: (see attached image)

Words from the man himself:
It is not November 3rd.
It is officially Nov 11th but it may be accessible to the public maybe not by that date.
If you’re going to attend The 2003 Macromedia Conference on the 18th - 21st, you will sure see it there.
Propod is 2 things.
1 - a platform
2 - a hub for professional designers/developers
What is launching in November is the platform. It is the biggest achievement and revolution for the flash community since it began. Big words, but we are confident in what we have created and believe it will take us into the next generation internet.
Propod will be deployed in sections over the next 2 years.
We will be releasing several press release shortly, but for now this is all the information regarding Propod I can supply. I can answer some questions but details will be minimum.
