Why I use swf in text.

I have started using swf files for some page text. The reason. I'm fed up noticing that some of my websites look strange due to the text size settings in the brousers on the viewers computers (I can't control this). The swf file appears more stable and the text is sharper.

So far it appears that most of my website viewers can view Flash files with no problems. Is it therefore true that we have almost got to an exceptable uptake level of swf readablility. Would a figure of say 85% be about right? If so yippee!

    it's higher then that.

I'm a strong advocate of swf for everything where possible.
And the reason is the stability of the end product.
It runs great/looks consistent in all browsers.
If a text is embedded in the swf it does not matter
whether the visitor has the text or not the text will still
be visible and it's still the text of your choosing not the browser.

CSS on the otherhand is a better standard then standard
html for defining how print should look in a web document.
CSS is more consistent then html but requires a certain ridgidity
    to it.

Jules from Total-Impact wrote a great article on css and
xhtml and why people need to familiarize themselves with
    these file types.

Some figures suggest that 98% of computers have the Flashplayer.

Bear in mind that soon you may have to make some changes to your pages containing swf's because of the Eolas patent problem.
