I need questions for a quiz to give interviewees for a designer position

    hey all,

So I'm interviewing for my replacement, I'm trying to come up with some questions to put on a quiz to make sure that this person/s have a good technical understanding of print, and web design,

Anyone want to offer some suggestions, or already have a list?

by the way these questions are more towards knowing that the person can get things done, not so much factual things like what is the hotkey for....

    So far I've got ..

    1. Explain steps that you go through to prepare a file for final printing.
    2. Where can you obtain images that can be used legally on our products
    3. explain problems that can occur when converting images from RGB to CMYK
    4. Explain at least 2 methods of how you would go about removing a person from a background image.
    5. What is a good range in disk size for an image to be on a website?
Sometimes....when it comes over me..... And I totally lose control......... I Like it.

I would find out about theit organization skills. Working through clutter slows down progress.

Set up a dummy folder with sub folders with content to be placed within it's proper folder.

    Good Luck,

Not for nothing, but I hope a person's work experience and portfolio would answer those questions for you.

Two most important questions, regardless of job

    1. What are you biggest strengths
    2. What are you biggest weaknessess..

the person who gives a real weakness is an honest level headed person.. most people will dodge #2 by saying "I can be to anal" or "I pay to much attention to detail" in hopes the interviewer will say "that can be a good thing" ... those answers are a weakness
    ..tween this
