this used to be so very simple

i was trying to make a simple mask in swishmax but i just don't get this. in swish 2 it was so simple: u take the text and the image, put the text at the bottom, move your image, set the sprite to mask and boom you have a fantastic easy effect. in swishmax however it seems a different story. again the text at the bottom, move image and check the mask option in the menu. but nothing happens. i see only the image moving from left to right were normally only the text should appear. anyone have a tip or something? tx guys & girls offcourse.

Just select the textobject,
and group it as Shape.

the problem is you have set the text as device font, just chose another option.

NOTE: you do masking exactly the same way in V2 and Max .. not change.
