    enabling buttons on specific frame ...???

    Hi there

    I have a menu with sub menus which slide in when the main menu item is rolled over....(with the help of Sean...!! - cheers gov'nor)

    What i want to do now is only enable the sub menu buttons, once they have slid out fully (if you see what I mean) - WHY... I hear you say... because they cause the cursor to show a button over action even when they are neatly hidden behind a frame on the left

    Now I know I could just take them out of the movie all together... but it would be nice to know how to enable a button only at a specific point

    any ideas...???

    source file can be provided if needed

    You can use the setproperty tag on the frames you don't want the buttons to be used.

    Code:
    setProperty("buttoninstancename", _visible, false);
    Then, when you want them visible again set them to true

    Code:
    setProperty("buttoninstancename", _visible, true);
