End-of-file encountered.. 2+ Days of work lost?

I'm almost crying right now. I've been working on a website in photoshop for the last 2 days straight, and I finally got it looking good when my computer locks up.. No big deal, I have it saved so I just restart.

When I come back and open the photoshop file, I get an error. I've attached it as an image.

I've tried restarting, everything.. IT just doens't work

Any ideas if I can get it back?

May be a program (not file) fault... I'd suggest either finding an update patch for photoshop or try a PSD to (ie, RAW) convertor, and try to convert it, then open it...

... hope it works out for you...

Also, do you normally name your files as the extension's name, or is this a backup that Photoshop created... (PSD.psd) ?

sounds silly, but are you opening the right file?...

Thanks for your reply.. I do name my files PSD.psd (just an odd habit I guess).. I've tried to open it on multiple computers now, and same result

I don't really understand what you mean about the convertor thing.. Do I convert it from PSD to PSD again?

    Thanks

well, you could... I'm just suggesting that you download a convertor, and convert the PSD to another extension and try to open it.

    Thanks

I'm not the best with file types, so i'm not sure what will stay layered.. Will PSD -> PDF work?

    I'm downloading a converter now..

    Hope it works out..

    Thanks
