good job. I liked the images that you put, very nice, but needs some sounds on your buttons, and some BG music. It also felt a bit cluttered. You just need some tweaks here and there. good overall.

I don't know why but your site felt like an ad to me.

great work for it being your first!

PLEASE STOP TYPING IN ALL CAPS

you need a preloader. badly. i was about to leave what i thought was an uncompleted site when some content popped up. are they individual swfs or one big one?

it does seem kinda cluttered, offcenter.

i would lose the orange font and the black boxes. theyd look a lot better if you stuck with the metal texture i think. sorry but i think the socom logo is pretty cheesey, but i guess ur stuck with it.

I'm not a fan of using pop-up windows for the main part of web sites, but sometimes it's alright - but when it displays as "new - Microsoft Internet Explorer" it looks a little cheap, I think you should address that issue.

It just stopped working, got most of the graphics to display and it just didn't do anything - or perhaps it took too long to load? I am a very impatient user, and there are many more people like me who will grow very tired very quickly, I know many people that complain when anything is slower than Google. I recommend you get a pre-loader as soon as possible, or make more of your graphics vector, or both!

5 megs is way too much for what the site is, you should be able to do the same in about 400k easily.
Optimize your graphics, vectorise what you can etc.
there are some tutorials about optimizing flash movies.

Open the file which opens in the pop-up window, if you're using framesets make sure you open the frameset and not one of the frames; now change the title of that page.
