Flash and the BASIC programming language?

Is Flash capable of interacting with the BASIC programming language?

err sort of, im leaning more towards the original platform / brand independant BASIC, realBASIC, pureBASIC etc... are all variations of BASIC.

What i want to do is design a Flash front end (Terminal) for a smartcard that is programmed in the BASIC language.

I suppose i will need to use a CGI type BASIC script that passes variables between the two, just wanted to know if anyone else has done anything like this or interfaced with BASIC scripts /programmes before.

well, realbasic says that it can import vb forms... and since vb can interact with flash, perhaps you have a slight chance... do you program visual basic?

well, if it's going to take you a while, let me know the idea in more detail... maybe i can program a "SIMPLE" visual basic form with flash embedded in it for you....

i can't do anything more serious... my thesis is currently trying to sacrifice me to the gods...
