    Masking text area bug???

    hmm I have spent 4 hours to figure out why I can not mask the text area is it me or what? Has anyone come across this bug?
    Still looking for a freelancer to work on my footer!

    I guess you are using dynamic text box. You cannot mask dynamic text box, you can mask static text box though.

    I think this is the problem.

    To see your text field under a mask, select it and click the character button in the properties window. Choose all characters.

    If you embed the font the text will display underneath the mask.

    but in Flash 6 we can do that right? as I remember
