detective

this seems to be the right forum to place this in but anyway, im looking for the right method to do an entire skit.

all i did so far was draw the first scene's worth of the character, and i put many different parts of him in different layers such as:
pupils, eyes, left/right arm, upper torso, head, mouth, eyebrows.
i guess thats the right method to set it up, now i want to do the voicing for him, i have the file up there, and its hard to tell where he speaks by looking at the visualization of the sound, but anyway, how should i go about this? like i did already, put the seperate parts in different layers? do i make them each into movie clips or what? im rather confused and i dont want to waste my time and end up having to start over, check it out so far...

also the file compression messes up the synchronization a bit, does everyone have this problem, do they keep it that way or do they deal with it?
