Macromedia alternative needed

Hi,
I just purchased Wildform Flix to convert my videos to the flash format.

I need to make a few changes to the "video player". However, I don't own the Macromedia Flash software (can't justify the $500) and I wouldn't know how to use it if I did.

Is there any good "alternative" flash software available? Something that is easy to learn and not super expensive?

If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

Which version of Flix did you buy?
