Help with flix lite and or pro

Hey anyone,

I am making a swf out of a qt movie, and when I use lite, the video stops playing 80% through, and the audio keeps going, when I use pro, the file size is approximately double the original qt file. I am using the cd mx settings with the exeption of putting the image compression at 80%, and I am also droping the audio quality to 22050 and 16kBits. Any ideas why it am getting these results? (the original file size of the qt is about 35000kb)

Hi.
That shouldn't be happening.
Are you sure the settings are identical? What settings are you using?
To obtain the best quality at the smallest file size you should use the MX video with 2-pass vbr in Flix Pro. We advise using one of the presets and adjusting your settings from there.
If video stops playing and audio continues it can be because you have exceeded the 16,000 frame limit in the Flash format. If you do that, the video will stop at 16,000 frames and the audio will continue to play.

Yeah, I discovered for the first time the old 16000 rule. I am having the videos re-converted.
