MX 2004 FLV. Max frame count?

    Hi,

Having just upgraded to MX 2004 Pro, I hear that I can use FLV files (without using FlashCommServer) in my video players in the same way I've been using .swf files.

Is there the same constraint to these files as there is to SWF?
    Mainly, the 16,000 frame limit?

    Thanks.

    Hi.
No there is not a 16,000 frame limit to FLV files.
The limitation is that FLV files will only play in the Flash 7 player while the MX SWF files will play in the Flash 6 or 7 players.

    thanks

    magic. thanks jon.

So, what new features can we expect to see in the next version of Flix?

File Splitting? (Our biggest problem to date) - with 'auto next part' loading?

    Flix engine included?

(we're still trying to convince people here that we should build this)

Here's an interesting article you'll like:

    Hi.
Thanks for the article link. Interesting.
As for the next version of Flix Pro I don't want to spoil the surprise, but automatic file chaining is on the wish list.
