    scrolling bitmap wobble

not sure if theres much i can do about this but any suggestions would be much appreciated.

ive got a long narrow jpg which is scrolling horizontally (tweened with edges masked). most of it looks ok but there are areas where the image is wobbling a bit. specifically a logo with thin outline. theres a lot of other movement going on onscreen which doesnt help.

ive tried splitting it up into different clips, different image formats etc but not much joy.

i may have to live with it but has anyone had any bright ideas for this kind of thing?
    thanks

    Astrum!

I had the exact same problem and i was able to fix it with this guy's help.

    Check out this thread :
    Marquee Wobble

Just make sure you make every bitmap into a Symbol, align them together, not using the "Align to grid" function in Flash, but by actually manually feeding in the correct values in X & Y in the properties panel.. and makes sure all Bitmaps are same width.

Once that is done, put em all into a Movie Clip and scroll the usual way.

Mine works perfect now.. all wobbling gone. Should work for you too.
