Making a flash menu appear over HTML

Hello. I have a basic knowledge of Flash MX and I would like a little help with my flash menu. It's a drop down menu (taken from samples from this site). The problem is I would like the drop down menu to appear over my HTML web page. Could anyone help me with this? I have attached my flash program for anyone to have a quick look at. If you play it in Flash you'll see how the menu appears and that it doesnt work if you put it onto a web page.

    Thanks for any help given.

No reason why it shouldn't work. Does it just not load or does it not appear?
The other day, I bought a box of animal crackers. On the side, it said "Do Not Eat if Seal is Broken". I opened the box and sure enough...

When you click on the slide down menu's they dont appear. I think it's that they arent showing over the boundaries of the flash movie.

Have you tried inserting the flash portion onto a table layer above the html. This should put it above the html....Maybe

I just tried it. You have to scale the swf to the end of you drop down menu. You are not seeing the whole thing because the the whole swf can't be seen. Does that make sense. Try what I said earlier with the layer and scale it so it is larger. You will see you drop down menu then.

I think if you put the movie in a layer above the HTML using CSS or w/e it should work... but you will probably have to make the movie transparent as well as enlarge the boundaries of the movie

If you goto a basic template of my site you'll see my problem. I want to make the drop down menu of the flash menu at the top of the page but when the items drop down I want them to appear over the HTML, not have a big gap for the menu to drop into.

P.S. Thanks for the help given

The site is located here site

A transparent Flash movie embedded in a higher layer/division...

All movies have to be transparent...

And this somewhat explains the rest...
