Best way to show fullscreen across different resolutions and platforms.
Hi. I hope someone can help me here.
What is the best way to always display maximized fullscreen no matter what res and platform the user is on?
- via a 3rd party app using a set resolution function?
There seems like a lot of options for the pc for this. Are there any for mac os9 or osX ?
- Or publish at 1600*1200 and use FSCommand to display full screen and alow scale true?
This works for me at the moment, But I would love not to have to scale the movie. I can't use any pixel fonts and jpgs can get a little jaggy.
Also, when I publish using this method, I always have a small black border around the movie. How can I get rid of this border so the movie gos right to the edge of the screen?
Thanks to anyone who has time to help me out here.

Yes you can do this using the NEW version of Jugglor v2, its support Direct X resolution.
http://www.jugglor.com
It will only work for the PC and not the Mac sorry.

mm. That will take alot of resource depending on the type of animation you have. You need to test it.
Or you use the FSCOMMAND
Fullscreen = True
AllowScale = False
This might help too.
Try the above and see what works for you.
Good Luck

No but the demo creates a Juggled file with a message saying it's an evaluation copy.

You can also download a copy of Flash Studio PRO which can change the system resolution using DirectX or the Windows API. I hope this helps

Not yet, but all the major developers are working on a Mac solution.
