Having problem with .swf in a .fla

I have a problem...I would aprecciate it if some one could help me!!!...... I was trying to make a small clip then I inserted a .swf that I made with "FLASHtyper" but when I tried to put it in DREAMWEAVER 3 I couldn't see the .swf that I made with FLASHtyper!!! It might sound confusing, Im sorry but Im new to this and trying to figure out how to make it work. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR READING THIS!!!
