    DON'T GO TO THIS SITE!!

Once you click on a link(tile) in the site, it continuously pops open new windows with his images. I was having to rapidly hit alt-F4. Serious pain, and the drawings are very amateur or just not my style.

    Not cool.

The person who made that site has no life.

    wrong.
the person who made this site has done quite a lot of work for many musicians, mainly the chemical brothers. if u see past the odd and a little seedy images, you can find some really good observational work.

Unique Ideas do NOT equal good ideas. The use of pop-ups is interesting, but that's about it. I'm interested if anyone viewing this using OSX safari can even see the pop-ups. Anyways, You walk away with nothing from the site. Beyond that, the site has several "clitches" such as when you close out of the site keep an eye on your menu bar, it starts opening and closing windows like crazy. Even better open your CPU monitor and watch the processing peak. Sorry guys for the long post. This site just really seems to be pretty empty. Seems like this guy is a one-trick-pony.

awww, don't get offended because you didn't understand that this site is called "FLASHKIT" and is kind of related to FLASH SITES.

I know POPUP CRASH sounds like FLASH, but you really should look around more and realize that what you posted was not only off-topic and off-genre, but complete crap.

Technically "cool sites" is NOT limited to Flash sites. While I agree that this particular site is disappointing, I have no problem viewing a well-done HTML site through this forum.

firstly please keep your comments constructive.

secondly, this is cool sites and this is flash kit, but this forum is not limited to flash sites. The purpose of this forum is for members to share links they find inspirational as a designer with the community. To only look for that inspiration in other cool sites is limiting your exposure to a narrow range of design media.

Any sites are welcome here, whether they are made with html, quicktime, flash or anything else that appears on the web, as long as they conform to the forum guidelines.

i thought it was quite good.

seemed easy enough to close for me on xp, just did "close group" and they all closed. Seems that if something a little different come along people aren't happy.

exactly. a website doesnt have to snap crackle and pop too be cool. if you can appreciate the amount of time and effort gone into it then why cant it be cool, even more so when your baffelled at how its been done. Ok, the work on the site may not too be too everyones taste but i think some of it is good. its simple sketches where the artist has looked at life and what is going on around him. The "F**k ME! A PORSHCE!", with a crappy drawin of a porsche on it is one of my favourites, because thats what people say when they see a porshce. It might be that only me and the artist have the same sense of humour in the whole world, but its nice too see a few people appreciate it.
