Always Twirling Toward Freedom
Pixel Art
I've lately taken a shining to this pixel art. Anyone else make any of their own? These are some I've made in the past couple days.
This is just some random building
This is the office I work in.
Feel free to share your own.

thnx pooon.. I have to agree MS Paint its much simpler than any other program. I only use photoshop to later export them as gifs.
I havent had time to finish the building but hopefully by the end of this week ill have it all done.
Cheers~

patients is an understatement. The little building took me about 3 and a half hours and the desk took me about 7.

Pixel Art its quite hard at first but once you get the hang of it you can create stuff in no time. The kill bill poster took me no more than 2 hours more or less. The thing that in my opinion is the hardest task in making pixel art is using the least amount of colors as possible and trying to give your character a real live look to it. Thats why I would recommend for those who are just starting with pixel art, that you begin by making simple stuff like isometric houses and buildings. Once you get the hang of it you can move on to harder and more complex stuff like human figures and faces. Then when you have gathered all of your skills and you become really but really good... you might even be asked to work for a big game company and do some RPG games!

Thanks. I think the middle one looks a little bit like a sprite from River City Ransom. It’ll be used in an RPG a friend is working on.
