A very quick question

Hi Peeps,

I saw a site the other day ( http://www.schmidtfoto.de/ ) and was wondering whether anyone could point me in the right direction.

The site is a photo galley and when each photo loads up. The box that surrounds it automatically re-sizes to fit the picture exact(landscape or portrait).

Can anyone tell me how this is done?
