Do you guys know other sites with this effect ?

Also is their a tutorial on how to create these effects. (use of Photoshop or after effects) i do have a small idea on how to create these but i want to do it the right way.

they use 2 images prepped in ps. one image is blurred for the right effect. the other is the static image. they just animated the blurred one and switch to the static image when it stops. thus, the sense of motion. you can animate opacity between the 2 images to make it look like it's coming into focus.

SouthSore, i guess they both did it in AE (after effects), just create a solid layer, than add the effects: basic text and blur. Add some blur to it. Of course it aint animated yet so go to the timeline look for the layer you created make sure everything is rolled out (this is how you say that right?) click on effects, if you did this right you'll see the things basic text and blur. Click on blur so it will unfold. No look for amount (of blur, something like that)click the little clock in front of it. Now you've created a keyframe but it aint moving yet right. Move the timeline thing (whatever you wanna call it) a bit to the right maybe 1 sec or something like that. Ok now go the the effect window look for the amount of blur and set this to zero. Et voila your done, at least i hope other wise add me on my msn: ssebas__@hotmail.com

Just use the Zoom Blur in Photoshop on a single image. After Effects would be a waste of your time and site bandwidth.
