    Player Logos

Hi there. I made a logo (.swf file) for the players. I uploaded the player logo to the FTP in the same folder as the .swf video file. When I play the video, the logo does not appear. What am I doing wrong? Where does the playerlogo.swf file go in the FTP?

    Thank you,
    Cherokee

    Hi.
    There are three possible reasons:
    1. You did not name the logo correctly.
    2. You did not place it in the same folder as the player.
    3. You did not use a player that supports logos.
    For instructions:

Q: How do I know which players are "logo players" and how do I add a logo to the players?
A: Players with the capital letter "L" in the name are logo players. These players will load a .swf called "playerlogo.swf" into the player, as long as the file "playerlogo.swf" is in the same folder or location as the player. You can create any playerlogo.swf file that you want, and you can use Flix to encode a logo that you have as an image file into .swf. You can also add text, or anything else - it just has to be a .swf file. The other issue is size and spacing. The playerlogo.swf needs to fit into the space that exists in the player. If you want to use the player without a logo appearing, just do not include a playerlogo.swf file.

I did name it right. I replaced mine with the one that came with it, named the same thing, overwrote it in the same folder.
I used a player that supports it.
It worked on my hard drive, when I copied the playerlogo into the same folder as my .swf movie folder.
When I upload it to the FTP, I put the playerlogo into the same folder as my movies, and it does not work. When I view off my website, the player is there, the movie is there, but no logo.

    Thanks,
