    Lightbulb

Just opened and closed my .fla files, trying to re-open them I get the message "Access to 'myfilename' was denied"

    Mac OS 9.04
    Flash 5

I've tried restarting, copying files etc.

I'm really stuck, this is 3 weeks of work, I do have earlier versions (I know backup. backup & backup) but I did a lot of work on friday, which may now be lost.

Any ideas, has this ever happend to anyone??

    open problem

I have experienced this exact same problem, i'm going to asum that you are working on a network.

First be sure that no one else has the file open
Then if the file is on a network drive try restartig the system with the file on.

If this does not help then the file is possible corrupt and you may have lost your work.

same problem with Flash 4.0 Mac OS 8.6

I've just created several flashtyper files, and they all do the same thing (Access to <filename> was denied). Any suggestions? Thanks, equally agitated, Paul.
