    Immersive, point and click..

Is anyone working on a game like this:

    http://www.freshsensation.com/samorost.swf

I love the style etc. I was thinking of coming up with a load of visuals and then getting someone to do the programming.

    what´s the deal?
is this a paid project or one just for fun?
when asking someone to code a whole game for you,you should give a bit more info =)

    chill ....

The main reason for posting was that I enjoyed playing this so much that I wanted to play more types of this game. Thats all.

Making a game was just a fun idea.

Draw enough great graphics and i'm sure someone will help you..
    Just my opinion of course.
If someone had over half of the graphics done for a game, and I really liked the look of them, I would be willing to code.

Reminds me a little of goblins on the amiga.

wow, thats one of the weirdest coolest games ive seen recently^^
It doesnt seem like itd be that hard to code, mostly different buttons to press which result in an action depending whats been pressed previously...doesnt seem too advanced really.

Its perfect example of how to make great game with simple tools, lots of talent and little bit of magic. And how creating even the most advanced engine is pointless.

Nahh.... not much anyway.. I have played 1,2 and 3... and completed them all ... hmm. would be fun to make a gobliins looking game (yes. 2 ii's in the name.. maybe it was 3)

Anyway.. speaking of Amiga.. as Winuae has built-it avi out. I recorded a clip when I'm beating a little boss in the game Lionheart... ....

Reminds me of my first ever director project except mine involved my hate for pokémon, and killed them at several points in the game

I don't know. Take out the instant death every time you do anything minutely wrong in gobliins, and its pretty similar.
Gobliins has to be one of the most painful gaming experiences for me ever.. I'd have stopped playing if it hadn't been so addictive.

This is like that but without any of the frustration.

there a game called "flying guy" (i think). it was in one of the www.flashforward.com film festivals a year or so back. it didn't have any real game mechanics but discovering the artwork was fun.
