    A new "newbie" question

Can this forum use another newbie? Here is my 1st question:

Flash MX 2004 Pro documentation says:

"Each screen has its own Timeline. The Timeline is collapsed by default. You must expand it to work with frames or layers.
You cannot view or modify the main Timeline of a screen-based document."

What does this really mean? I cannot work on the parent screen timeline? The reason I am asking is because I am so new (just finished the training book yesterday), I thought that screens may be easier for me to work with. Or maybe not.

Congratulate me. It took me 2 hours, but I did manage to make my background music loop. Now I just need to make some buttons so viewers can turn the music off/on. Flash is cool!

    Thanks in advance.

for every movieclip or scene u have u have a different timeline, so that ur parent (main) timeline isn't overcrowded, and its easier to create multianimation things.
    Cheers!
