    very cool intro movie!!!

But i didnt like the feel of the site itself. It felt "awkward" and navigation could be confusing.

    Thank you everyone!

Could you please tell me what particular part of navigation is not easy to understand?

love that intro video. the rest was okay, i think the type was bothering me though. the heavy condensed fonts are good for headlines, but for smaller copy and content not as good.

mm the intro was absoultly delcious...... and i though "OMG WOW this site is gonna be amasing!"

then once it loadded the menu just moved around and away fro my mouse and it felt complicated when it clearly isnt..

sumthing about the way the site works... just irritating...

    fix it.

Looks beautiful but man, is that tough to navigate, I didn't know what I was looking at. I rolled over buttons and images appeared. I much prefer something to happen on release. Also, different images appeared when I went to, say, home. Great intro and as I said, looks great. I'm not sure if it's just me that's stupid though, so you might have nothing to worry about.

    yes i agree with you...

This is a great feedback, i need to think more about usability now.

And now i really think there is no possible way of improving current design, so i'll build a new one.

    Thank you.

    Thank you.
sherri, I really appreciate you taking part in the discussion here but can I ask you to resize your footer so it is no more than 300x40 pixels and 15k?

The guidelines for FK footers are in the coffee lounge so I don't blame you for not having seen them, we need to make them more prominent.

    thanks!

    %

Agreed with the statements above. I like it. But one thing that hasn't been mentioned, which might mean I am the only one thinking it, is the preload percent. That is what I found... not quite annoying, but extraneous. There are ways to preload the image without displaying the loading % everytime. Makes for a less than smooth transition between pics.
Unique site though and I do like the design, layout and color(s).

    Good luck,
    1M.

I looked again and before you re-do the whole thing, let me say that the actual site looks great and does not need re-doing.

Here are my thoughts. The reason I was confused earlier was that when I rolled over one of the buttons at the top, I got an animation underneath (which I realise now would play anyway) I thought it played because I had rolled over the button. Also when I press say, home, all the info is at the bottom of the screen with a picture seperating it and my eye was not drawn down towards the bottom immediately. I did however, soon realise what was happening.

    I hope this helps

    design update

I'm now thinking about redesign, as not many people find it easy to navigate. If you have any suggestions, please post here.

Thank you all for your input!
