    I've never asked.

Search for the person, and PM them perhaps?

I spent 4 months on the north shore of Oahu in the winter of 1998. That was winter that the north shore had yellow tape all along the beaches and Waimea Bay was 50ft close outs. I'll never forget that swell it was gigantic. I saw some heavy sh*%t that winter. During that swell I headed for the north shore of Kauai and scored giant waves there as well.

Do you surf? What Island are you on?

My sister spent the month of december with her husband in Maui. She got island fever... but then again she don't surf. I never been to Maui but I would love to catch Honolua Bay on a good day. You shortboard?

i own both... these days i prefer my light weight 8ft. glides in the sea... Shortboarding became to much work... i kept saying to myself bigger bigger... then i paddled into double overhead at ho'okipa.... that was a bad day.... shallow water, sharp coral/lava... big waves are much cooler in Cali, where theres sand on bottom.
