Maybe you should start loading the next image while we are watching the current one? it will speed things up a bit. Anyways, nice stuff there

Nice work. What are the limitations of uploading the images and folder? Do they need to be named sequentially or are you picking up the filenames from the server somehow?

thanks guys! and yes I did do all that code myself btw

As far as filename limitations. There is none. You can name it whatever you want. Everything is pulled dynamically with one script. Literally, all it takes to add a new gallery is to add your folder with pictures.

I've beta'd it for the past few weeks and am quite impressed with the code. I got it installed and running in 5 min on my own web site. And all I have to do is upload a folder to the gallery folder.

Its even good to display locally as a gallery. Quite convenient, and a better display and functionality than just XP gives you. Its funny cause when I want to show people my pics, I put them in the gallery, and then I show them cause its just easier.

Jafang - the gallery itself needs PHP to run. That is how it is so easy, and how it will automatically grabs your files for you. The user comments is a completely optional feature. However I have only used PHP and MySQL to program in this version. I hope that helps man!
