Another site check please

I've made some minor changes in the past couple of weeks, but i just wondered if anyone thought there was anything i could do to really make it better and to know if some things are not working properly.

I like it. Minimal, nice typography.

Didn't much like the 'play' and 'info' sections.
Too different from the clean look the others had.

The cheesy sound effects? Dunnow about them.

Screenshots in the portfolio maybe?

thanks sense, the info section is pretty much finished but the play section will probably change. i'm gonna keep the sounds there, sorry.
and screenshots are on the cards for the portfolio section, it will probably change aswell.

Overall I like the site. I really like the photography section.. Nice job.

As for the sound effects. I'm not really a big fan of them either. They just don't seem to fit the feel of the site. If it was a gaming site possibly but that might even push it, they sound like sound effects from my old school atari.

Another thing I noticed is that when you hit "about" and "news" the content while loading flys in from outside the area that it ends up. In my opinion it should be kept inside the box.

Also when you hit "work" and "play" after hitting "about" or "news" the content from "about" or "news" stays in the box. But if you hit home after loading them the box disappears. I'm thinking they should either disappear for the "work" and "play" areas or possibly have a description of what is going to be found in the section in the box. As it stands it is not very nice flowing due to this diff...

I like the colors, The load time is still a bit high. If you maybe compressed the images a bit more and let them link to a high res pic it would speed things up (i'm on cable so it was ok but I still had to wait, 56k would probably really suck).

Also i'm not a big fan of the verticle scroll. There doesn't really even seem to be a need for it. If you have something you are planning on putting on the top then cool but otherwise I would ditch the scrolling man.

One more thing and i'll quit. Why not when the content is loaded for a section, disable the button for the section. If you hit the same button twice it reloads and reloads. If you disabled the button this wouldn't be a problem.

Ok well i'm sorry if it seems like I tore you site apart. I seriously love the colors and concept. Your design is right on in my opinion, just has a couple quarks is all.

Keep up the great work and please don't take this a criticism but as constructive criticism...

Thanks man! thats just the kinda stuff I'm after. I like most the sounds, some may change so thats gonna stay, but about the 'about' and 'news' boxes dissapearing when you hit home, i'll change that.

Good site. Nice and simple. I think any photo site should be minimalistic and you hit it just right.

Music and sound is fine, don't know what the big deal was about that.

Overall, good site.

I really like it. The clicks on the navigation menu are a bit annoying though. The other sounds are ok, but maybe silence for the nav menu, or maybe a different, less intrusive sound.
