    Tiling Background Images

    Hey -

Just wanted to know if there is an easy way to tile an image across the background of the movie (aside from draging and positioning multiple instances from the library!)

Say I wanted to have a nice background with some lines running 45degrees across it. It would be very efficient to have a 4 pixel image tiled millions of times than to have 1 jiant image

    ex:

    -Original Image-
    0x

    -Tiled Image-
    x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x
    0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0
    00x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x
    000x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0

or whatever. just wanted to know if there was any practical way of going about this :/

take a look at some of tonypa's stuff. I've never really tried to figure it out but they are talking about it in this post and some others.

In the Color Mixer panel you can select bitmap and import one as fill... Then use that as fill color.
