i have a few objects in a movie, now i want to align them all each above the other.
when i do it with the align tool, they all move to the right or the left so it would fit. but i want the upper object not to move, and that they would all align to it.
is there a way to do it?

Not using the align tool, BUT...

Align all of the objects, except the top one, to be centered with each other, then pull up your info box on your first object and see what the X coordinate is, and just select all the other objects as one big group and move their X coordinate to the same as the top one....takes 3 steps instead of 1 click, but it works.

    Spyder

(By move the X coordinate, I just mean type in the new X coordinate you want into the info box once you have them all selected)
