Best way for audio slide show
I need to put together a slide show with narration. As each sound file finishes, I need to automatically change the slide (image) and start the next audio file. I don't want any pauses in the audio.
What is the best way to do this with linx?
Also, how do I get a controller so that I can stop, pause, rewind, and fast forward my movies?

Hi.
Check out the Linx tutorials:

Especially this one:

Linx can add play controls.
You may want to check out Flix Pro, which can automatically add a player to any SWF file.

Thank you for your reply.
I have already read the tutorials, but am wondering the best way to do this. Should I have all the slides and audio on the main timeline or should I have each slide with its own audio (each in a seperate swf file) and use load movie. (Each slide has several minutes of audio.)
Also, if the best way is to have all slides and audio segments running in the main time line, what is the best way to sync the slides with the audio. (I currently have each slide in its own jpeg file and a mp3 file for each slide.)

Hi.
It's difficult to tell you how to prepare your project because it is based on so many factors:
-sizes of the files
-proposed mode of deployment
-features you want to add
and so on.
This tutorial breaks down the three play modes and makes suggestions as to which one to use:

As a general rule, audio files should be placed on the main timeline or played with load movie if you want the audio to "stream".
