Yahoo domains don't transfer??

This is a non-Flash related question.
I just found out that if you buy a domain name thru Yahoo you have to host your site there or lose the email that matches your domain name. I did not have this problem with any other domain name place. I'm just looking for advice on what I should do so I can keep the email. Yahoo will not send me a reply.

Anyone else get into this jam?

What do you mean by "the email that matches your domain"?

Do you mean "mydomainname@yahoo.com" or do you mean "me@mydomainname.com"?

If you mean the second one, then don't worry, that follows the domain to whatever server you host it on.

So my host can then let me have that email?!
