    editting buttons

Hi I have downloaded this button from here
    http://www.flashkit.com/movies/Inter...8150/index.php

I like it very much. I want to implement this button onto my website. But I have no idea as to how to go about doing that. Firstly, I need to edit this buttons to be suitable to my site.

As I'm really a first-timer at Flash, I really hope somebody will guide me as to how to go about it.

Here are the few things i wish to do:

    1) Change the background of the flash to transparent (black at the moment)

    2) Add text to the buttons. I tried using the insert text button on the left menu but the result wasn't satisfactory as teh rollover effect is lost for the area with the inputed text.

    3) Add hyperlink to the buttons to link to different pages of my site.

Sorry for all these really noobish questions but after playing around with flash mx 2004 for about an hour or so, I have nowhere else to turn to. Decided to post here, hoping to get some help.

    Thanks in advance

The background colour is the default movie colour
Double click the fps box on the main timeline to edit the general movie settings.

On further investigation are trying to run before you can walk?
Try creating a simple button and use getURL() function.
I know its a pain but the help with Flash is really very good.
    Regards,
    Pete

double click on the button, on your stage, and that should bring you to the editting stage, where you can change the up, over, and down mods.

if that is what you're talking about.
