    Importing CAD dwg/dxf files

I've always been able to import dwg/dwx files into Illustrator, edit out layers I dont need, export to swf, and import into Flash MX. I just got some new CAD files that wont open in Illustrator and am kinda stuck without a solution. Purchasing new software is no big deal I just want to be sure that it will open these new files and be able to export to Flash in a usable format.

If anyone has any help/direction it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

I have an AutoDWG FlashDWG converter, you can try it first with this converter on this page: http://www.autodwg.com/dwg-to-flash/. If it works, just send your files to me and I can get you converted SWF files. I have a registered version of this converter.
Or just send CAD files to my googlemail account: Seanfts (at gmial.com).
I'm thinking maybe you are receiving AutoCAD 2010 drawings, try to version conversion these files with AutoCAD DWGTrueView and converter into a lower format of the CAD files. Maybe you can then open these files in Illustrator.
