    Sphere Magazine

    hello Flash Kit Folks,

I just wanted to drop a link to you for a fresh online magazine called Sphere:

    www.spheremag.com

Sphere is based out of toronto and is focused on fashion, beauty, design, art, technology and more. We'd love to get your feedback on the first issue.

    Thanks.

    Hi there,

checked it out (the magazine)... and compared it with:
    playmusicmagazine.com (with sounds )

The design is nice, easy and clear.

    But...
    - I'm missing some navigation.... what if: I'm on page 25 and I want to see page 5... then I have to click 20x back.
    - The turning of the pages, it must have cost you a lot of time to get it like that... but it's still a weird turn . Play with some transition-settings...
    - just an option : add some animation/music and exciting links on the pages, if it's possible. You're working with flash, why not use it to make your magazine an eyecatcher?

    Bye, Digigirl05

hey folks, thanks for the feedback. digigirl, I'm not of the make it move because it can school of thought. however, I think you've got a point in that there could be a little more "action" to it. It's tough considering my target market and the general aesthetic is meant to be clean and light so a lot of animation would really weight it down . . . dunno. Made me think though.

Frostbite, the pop up is that way to ensure that even people with 800* 600 resolution with the worst possible browser configuration can still see the whole "book". I don't care for popups either but until people stop using half the screen for their browser frame that's the optimal setup.

Thanks for the feedback folks, anyone else?

    AJB
