Feature 7 is now posted. Check it out!

This feature gives the ability to rotate your object numericaly so that you can rotate with precision. Also, when you're viewing your objects in the Trackball there is now a Trackball Axis Cue to help you get a better visual of the XYZ axis when rotating in the track ball. This feature also has the ability to rotate on the local axis vs. the global axis when you have parent / child animations.. (the pipe animation shows this).

on day 6 I noticed a bunch of models. I think we're going to see a lot of mini coopers in flash cartoons.

Ive never used this program before. I've used Rhino 3D and Cinema 4D.. this looks alot like Cinema 4D. Are there any similarities (in other words, how long would it take for me to apply what I know from other programs to this one) My experience with 3d programs is that no 2 3d programs are alike.

Pooon : Swift 3D does have the hierarchy (spelling) feature. It allows you to set up parent child relations from one object to another. from there all you have to do is adjust the pivot point of the oject and then you have control similiar to that of bones.

MPTheory : One reason our program is so popular is because it is geared toward Multimedia Developers (people who aren't always 3D savvy). Swift 3D is designed to be easy to pick up and run with it. Most people have a firm grasp on our program within a couple days. You'd pick it up pretty quick.. trust me! (especially if you have knowledge with higher end programs).

And now onto the Feature #8: Soft Selection
Swift 3D v4’s Soft Selection tool is a great timesaving function for quickly molding a group of vertexes into any shape, particularly organic shapes.

Check out the Swift 3D v4 Feature List

I'm not sure if there will be a trial version. I know that there is a 30 day money back guarantee of some sort. Sorry.. i'm not the expert on this matter. Contact sales@erain.com
