    more like the user didn't know when to stop adding search bars.

    but yes, some of those, such as Alexa and Mortgage Toolbar are considered malware/spyware.

    that's insane.

    Well, the spyware isn't there. The other searches are integrated into one simple search bar, where you click a drop down, select where you want to search, type in the term, and it will search. It's awesome...
    I really enjoy forgetting. When I first come to a place, I notice all the little details. I notice the way the sky looks. The color of white paper. The way people walk. Doorknobs. Everything. Then I get used to the place and I don't notice those things anymore. So only by forgetting can I see the place again as it really is.

    Thanks, but ill stick to Avant Browser all the worthwhile features of Mozilla/FF with the benchmarks of IE.

    but the ActiveX, MSXML and VB/.NET exploits via the Internet Explorer are unique only to that browser though. Just thought I'd mention that.

    eek thats creepy!

    I never understand why someone thats gonna use an alternative ie based browser would choose the bloated slow loading (and glitchy) avant over the ever-so-useful myie2.....am i the only one that uses it here? ive tried avant, and belive me its like a toothache in comparison.....

    ok, im interested in this MyIE2 that you mention.
    why is Avant a "toothache" for you? im having zero performance issues with it, the browser loads in less than half a second for me, and considering that i only ever shut it down when playing games, startup time isnt an issue.

    you say its bloated, how? yes, it does have a lot of buttons, meaning wasted space, but i know enough of the the shortcuts/ mouse gestures that i only ever have the tab bar, address bar and status bar up.

    Also wanted to mention the half-implementation of PNG.

    The new beta version of Firefox (.90), is even faster than .80 for start up and page rendering. It seeems, to me, like Firefox .90 is very much faster at startup than IE is.

    Also want to point out that none of the IE add-ons will give you a XUL environment. Without XUL you can't use any of these neat litttle do-dads http://www.mozdev.org/
