not sure if this is the right forum - need a writer for my comic

hi there, i have always wanted to make myslef a comic. but every time i start one, i lose interest straight away... why? because i cant think of a story. i'm crap at writing stuff.

soooo, i have finally got off my butt and i'm just gonna go out and ask. who would like to be my writer?

what i want to do is make a online comic like the ones from penny-arcade, Mac geeks etc. and update every week or twice a week.
here is a (very) quick example of what it might look like.

and here is what cartoonfox looks like when i can be bothered to spend some time to make hime look right

    and here is the logo

soo, if anyone is interested, then please e-mail me (click the e-mail button)
or talk to me on AIM, my user name is cartoonfoxDOTcom

when e-mailing me, please give an example of how "episode 2" could go like. it doesnt have to be just 3 panels, but i would like it to be short but sweet ^-^

if you want any other info, e-mail me or chat to me with AIM, i'm almost allways online

mods: if this is the wrong place for this, i'm sorry, please move
    thanks ^-^

hi there, i replyed to your e-mail, check it out ^-^
    =======================================

ok, something i forgot to mention,
it needs to be funny. no serious drama or action or anything. ^-^ its just a short-but-sweet comic that will be updated once or twice a week.
also, as for script topics, i would say pretty general. video games (i'm a huge nintendo fan, hint hint ^-^) is the only thing i can think of, so its kinda up to you. just make me laugh (or smile or whatever ^-^)

so, if anyone who's interested could please send me a script for your idea for 'episode 2' of the comic. it can be anything you like, it's just a test one.
it can be more than 3 panels if you want, but i would like it to be short (3-4 panels max probably)

so just send me a sample script, i'll check it out and get back to you.

hehe, i never noticed that ^-^ (shows how bad my spelling is ^-^)

thanks. i thought if i just made a thread asking for a writer without any proof that i can do anything or whithout any characters or whatever, people would just ignore. so i diceded to make a quick example. ^_^

Hey, one of my server apps is an online comic generating tool: http://www.rogotworld.com/stripomatic.jpg (Think of a template based Photoshop)

It will need some time till I have it finished, many months I guess, so just remember me if I send you an email someday.

This is a picture from the first pre-alpha version (basicaly a prove of concept): http://www.rogotworld.com/pics/stripcreator.gif

I completly redesigned the database since then and added new functionality, but I think you should get a better idea of what it is with that screenshot.

    Is that like here: www.stripcreator.com
I remember I made a load of comics using the Wigu donkey, I actually made my own comic strip from it, about 30 odd episodes.
Methinks I'll go make a website for them, I'm bored.

Yup, I've seen that one, but my idea goes much further. At then end you have a real picture that you can instantly post somewhere and not a HTML table mess.

This people here use random number generators worldwide to measure what they call "Global Consciousness". The highest peak they ever measured was 9/11. I've see this and tryd to measure personal consciousness. I even had a discussion with the original scientists to figure out exactly how they did it.

It just measures how random my generated random numbers are. If someone can manipulate random numbers, then the numbers are not perfectly random anymore and so you can move the linbe up ... I'm still not sure if it's really working, but in England is an insitut that just trys to find this out and till now they believe that we can manipulate random numbers based on their statistics.

..... o..k, but how can it tell what my mind, or brain or whatever is doing?

seems to be a trick to me. sometimes i would do nothing and it would raise.

bah my brain is confused ^-^

I can't tell what your mind is doing. Like I sayd I just measure the randomness of random numbers.

That it goes up and down is pretty normal, but if you can hold the line above for a long time, then there's a good chance that it was you and not just luck. Still, theoriticaly even a very long time can still be luck. I guess if you're able to move the line up whenever you like, then it's most likely not luck after all.

but how can it tell if my thoughts are producing random numbers?

(lol i've hi-jacked my own thread, but i dont mind, this is interesting to me)

i have been on the page for a while now, and i've realised that it does move up and down prety randomly, but tapping my fingers on my desk (i'm listening to music) seems to sometimes move the bar up.

i think it's quite interesting. btw, what does PSi stand for? ^_^

Your thoughts are not producing the random numbers, your computer does, but since the quantum theory came up, we know that our consciousness can have an effect on things just by seing a measurment result and many scientist think that our sub-consciousness can exactly control some of those effects. So by looking at that line, you kinda etablish a feedback loop between your consciousness, your sub-consciousness and the place in your chip that generates the random numbers. That's the theory, but as you can only use statistical methods here, you can't 100% prove the theory.

    Pounds per square inch.

The PSI we're talking about is the letter of the Greek alphabet that was used to categorize this effects, like Omega and such similar names.
