hey guys, I'm all cool with friendly trash talk, but I'm not allowing bad verbiage from either team.

as far as skill goes, it was well done imho. and pertaining skills, the masking around the Q, and the rest of the suits in the cards was a bit off in the original picture, imho. you can tell that the colors were overlayed in the serve image.

now, you didn't see me banging down AIF's doors when I saw those issues, now did you? sheesh, if you're gonna call a spade a spade, start with your first image.

Thing is, we physically took the photo. Bungle(the guy I collaborated with), actually bought a pack of cards and took a picture of his "poker hand".

I think the issue at hand is the one of using stock photos.

If taking the picture means extra kudos; then on my turn, I'll be providing my own.

Im not sure how much quality cameras cost in AUS, but here in the states look at a minimium of $350, if you want a nice one look at about a grand. Im not sure about the rest of you, but I dont have a digital and dont forsee purchasing one for this event.

If you want me to use images Ive taken, youll be dissapointed, as all I have are pictures of my baby, and a few floral shots.

Let's squash this right here and now. No negative comments like that on any volley, please. Keep it clean and civil. Trash talk is one thing, but that's going a bit over the line IMHO.

I think it's water under the bridge by now (hopefully) so let's just enjoy this battle. And the most important thing is that we all learn from each other and have fun!

fwiw ... I understand the beef, but I'm sure we'll see a few on both sides that use stock photography. If not, we should have place it in the rules as gerbick stated. You can be just as creative by using stock as you can without.

I mean... it's not "hand crafted", what's next? AIF, c'mon you guys need to come clean with your expectations, or this will end up as another bitter battle, like against WOT.

As it stands, it just seems like some petty whining from an outsider's view of "you didn't take your picture, we did"... at least that's the PM's I got from bystanders. And look, I've already censored one of my teammates. Didn't censor you guys.

ok. so let me get this right. stock images are now taboo.

But as far as the FK team goes, take heed. Take your own photos for other no reason that it will not be regarded as "handcrafted" by our opposing team, AIF.

Hate to sound bitter, but like I said it earlier... I don't want this to turn into a WOT like battle. I'll shut it down very quick. I don't take these battles at all serious, and not about to start now with some petty misunderstandings or banter.

So both teams, keep it civil, please.

Now... back to the fun!
