w w w w w www website
hi all,
so far all my flash work has been created for display purposes only, i.e. showcases, music videos etc. You can tell by looking at my website that i need to learn a few things (www.tabrez.cc)
I'm now creating a website for a client and there's a few things i need to take into consideration, for example, file sizes, and how to make a preloader etc. I have 1 week to do this and i think i can manage with just a wee bit of advice on a few things:
1. First things first, is 800x600 an okay stage size?
2. I'm assuming it's more efficient to create each section of the website as a seperate swf to load instead of a scene?
3. how to get the back button on IE6 to integrate with the flash movie.
thanks in advance
tabrez...

1) Yes, but use less than 800 x 600 to allow for the scroll bars, toolbars, google bars etc etc, 740 * 560 seems OK.
2) Yes. Yes. Yes. Do not use scenes. Ever again!
3) Apparently it can be done, look into "named anchors". But I've never managed.

cheers scud.
When i first got into flash, i had a wee play around with named anchors, I'm pretty sure i can crack it.
I'll stick to swf's then and not bother with scenes
thanks for your help, keep an eye out on my progress if u wish, www.kandelicious.co.uk
right now it's a really crappy template thing, and i've got the most boring client right now and she love's it! Boring!
thanks again!!!
