    Three questions for animation help!

    1) Ok, I am attempting to add an animated GIF to my Flash animation, stretch it out and move it to a different location of the screen. But when I add it, it adds every frame of the GIF, so I have to stretch out and move every frame and try to make it match so it looks clean like the original GIF, but it always comes out deformed. Is there a way I can add the GIF, then select all the frames, stretch them and move them to the same place all at once, so it turns out good?

    2) Like the first question, except I want the animated GIF to be moving around on the screen as it plays it's animation.

    3) A link to a good tutorial for fading (with GIFs, JPEGS, BMPs) for Flash MX 2004.

Create a new symbol (graphic or movie clip) and import the gif into that. Then drag and drop your new symbol onto the stage and resize it there.

Once your gif is a symbol, you can animate it and fade it.
