Transparency in flash - doesnt work in Macs, any solution?

Ok, so <PARAM NAME=wmode VALUE=transparent> makes the flash file transparenton a pc, but it doesnt work on Macs. Is there a piece of code to make it work on Macs?

<PARAM NAME=wmode VALUE=transparent> is not really a Mac V. PC thing it only works in Internet Explorer. Those on PC's using Firefox, Opera et la will see a background too. There is no code to make it work in other browsers, only IE.

    http://www.macromedia.com/support/fl...ents/wmode.htm

lists the supported browsers (windows and mac), i'm not sure how well it will work on mac browsers but despite claiming support for mozilla based browsers on windows, i've found it to be buggy at best (in movies where there is much user interaction).
