    ch-ch-ch-check it out

i've been working on this off and on for a month now. http://southshoregraphics.com/

just looking for input from all of you educated consumers, positive and negative. let me just say that it will be a little smaller and faster loading in a couple days.

    thanks for any advice

Great site. How did you make the text copy/pastable in Flash?

I don't see anything wrong at all. The water loading in teh beginning and just suddenly started to move was a bit weird but forgivable. Maybe you can make it gradually start moving or move as it downloads?

Also, can you give me a review on my site also? http://www.flashkit.com/board/showth...hreadid=566804

    not bad

the only thing i would recommend is put a filler in at the bottom so it stretches the lenghth of the browser window.

how do i do that? i can't figure out how to do it vertically in dreamweaver, only horizontally.

just use sans or any other common font, 'static text' and in the properties check 'use device fonts' and 'selectable.'

did it seem like it took a while for the water to download and play?

i love the colours used, it has a really soft smoothe style, i agree that maybe some padding of somekind could be included below the bottom table as it does look as if it is not quite finished.

looks good. Not sure if this is what your talking about but if you want to continue the white down to the bottom of the browser: Add a table with a vertical height of 100% and pixel width of your flash file. Insert the flash in the table and make sure its aligned top. Fill your table with white. Blue will still be seen on the sides.

i've seen that...i'm sure we both used the exact same after effects plugin, psunami. it's also the same software they used for the water scenes in titanic. since i am in hawai'i, i thought it was the perfect effect.
