How can I import QuickTime VR videos into Flash and retain the interactive functionality? If there's scripting involved, what is it called and where can I get it?

Yes, this can be done, but you wouldn't want to import - you'll want to link. Do a search on this forum for QTVR (there is a search at the bottom of the main page) I believe you'll find a description of how to add a Flash layer to your QTVR and export.
