    movieClip playing once only

    Hello,

    I am using mx 2004, and here is what I am tryin to do. I have a external movie that loads into a an accordian component. That movie has several btns to choose from. When the user makes their selection, (pressing a btn), a movieclip on stage "cover" fade to 0 opacity reveling tools they can use.

    I would like for the "Cover" movieClip to fade to 0 only once, and not evertime one of the btns on stage is pressed.

    Can anyone help me out?

    Thanks,

    xcaliber

    hello again deadbeat,

    Thanks much for your help today on both fourms. I will give that a shot.

    One other thing, how do you get your actionscript to appear within a box when post on the fourms? I know that is eaiser to read and understand.

    Thanks-xcaliber

    You can wrap your code in [code] tags to make it easier to view:

    On actionscript.org, you can also use the [as] tag...

    You can use the [as] tag here too.

    code:
    //here is some action script
