Flix Pro 4.015 cannot detect Audio in QuickTime movie
I took some movies with my Panasonic Lumix Camera. The format it uses is Quicktime ie .mov. When I clicked on the movie, Quicktime automatically opens and it plays perfectly. I then used it as the input file for Flix Pro 4.015. When I click Play in the File Tab, a dialog box with the heading Input - Wilform Flix Player opens and when I click the play button, it plays the video and the audio perfectly. However, within the Flix File Tab, Input properties, Audio : Not Available.
Likewise, in the Flix Video/Audio Tab, in the Input Audio Properties, everything has the word "Unknown" against it.
Now this is very puzzling !
Has anyone experienced this ?
Is there a need to convert Quicktime to say mpeg. Can anyone suggest a video convertor that is freely available ?
I have included a very short video file in Test.zip so you can verify that this is indeed a problem.
Hi.
I just encoded it without a problem (see attached).
I suggest you try uninstalling the free Quicktime player, downloading a new installer and then reinstalling - and make sure to use the complete "recommended" install mode.

Fantastic. I must say this is really a quick response that work as you indicated.
I followed your instructions and presto ! It worked like a dream.
If there's anyone out there reading this and still wondering if he should purchase Flix Pro, all I can say is that you are missing out on a great software and all it can do for you.
And this is not the 1st time I had a fast response through this forum.
