live video from a dv cam??

Hi

I've gotten live video from a USB webcam to play in my flash movie and now I need to get it working from a Sony DV camera.

The live video from the DV camera plays fine in Windows movie maker so I don't think I'm missing any drivers.

When I run my flash movie and right click and go to settings then select the camera tab I can select Microsoft DV camera from the camera list even though its a sony camera. Would this matter?

have you had any luck getting the dv cam working. im trying out this now but i dont even know where to start getting a webcaqm working on my site yet. i want a live feed to my webpage from my cam. any ideas on how.

my_camera.setMode(720, 568, 12,true);

you need to specify the exact resolution that the feed is coming in at. the 12 is for the audio
