Well i wanted to just update the last thread but it was trashed so i am forced to start a new one.. anyway yall made me feel so bad about the last time i had this site on review that i trashed the other one and did it again.. although i did not do a completely new site.. this is my sister.. but what i did is took a site i am working on and just made her one kinda just like it.. i took a few things from her site and put it in this one.. well the stuff she wanted.. she did not understand why i had to change the site but after much prayer and thought i decided that some of you where right...and that i was wrong...

mann that is a hard one to admit..

may i ask why you felt bad about the other one and how did we trash it? the site was coming along jsut fine, it looked really good. maybe im just confused

anyway this site, i like the reflected glare u have on the edge of the box, nicely done!! why is there a grey/white stripe on the right side of the frame? is this site suppose to reflect your sister b/c if so, i dont see it. i like the purple, gives it more or somewhat a feminine look to it. is that wut u want to accomplish or no?

Nawww the other site was one i posted a few weeks ago and no one liked it... sad but true... I am still working on this one .. only realy spent a day making the changes... anyway still got some work to do on it... its often hard for men to make a sites for women.. only because we tend to like designs that are a lil harder.. but hey thats just my take on the issue... I always say that women make better designers anyway...

(uh oh.. i know imma get it for that statement)

Hmm cant say anything bad about it alot better then the first site you did for her the preloader is tasteful and the content is creative. Its not the best looking but it shows your on your way to making the most out of flash.
When you go in for a job interview, I think a good thing to ask is if they ever press charges.

I call it the "in a box series" and i even put it in my portfolio go look

I just loved the concept so much I don't wanna let it go just yet...infact on my wife's site i am trying somethings that i thought about doing on the others but did not do... so i am like working on all 4 at the same time.. its maddness but thats the only way i can work..
I mean i hope i aint break no rules.. infact the client thinks is funny.. but as far as me doing it for another client that is where i draw the line... i aint into doin templates for clients... but personal sites or "free sites" as i like to call em i don't mind doing a design i have already done...

The boxes were cool. Most of the good comments would go towards the animation of the boxes. I think after you had designed the boxes it was kind of what next. The information that comes out of the boxes gets a little small and confusing. Also there is a small learning curve on the navigation and content. Not great, but enough to give a little air of uncertainty as to what one is doing.

I was also not a fan of the font, particularly in the top left where it looks pixelated.

I think you have a lot of flash talent and good graphic skills showcased here. My own opinion is that it would have benefited from more storyboarding/planning before starting out on the site. Sorry to be negative on this, whilst others had been very positive.

Yes i have to agree that i often jump into sites head first with not enough preparation.. something that i work on getting better at with each site.. never be sorry for negative comments.. its thoes very comments that help a person to go from being a bad designer to a great designer...

in other words.. pray for me

    i love yall
